BETA 300RR Set up that works extremely well! Beta has historically recommended 60:1 for the non-OI 300 cc bikes. But plenty of others like me have mixed 40:1 and 50:1 with great results. The key is to jet appropriately for whatever mixture you're running. I.e. more oil in your gasoline results in leaner A/F mixture.
Needles shown on this graph are the stock Beta/Keihin needles, the Suzuki needles mentioned above are similar in many ways, slightly different in taper. NECJ for your summertime 4000ft baseline, and the NEDK for a leaner needle if needed but not likely. Wintertime jetting the NEDW or even an NECW.
